SLU Connect-Burlington Program
Get connected with alumni and parents through SLU Connect—Burlington over October break!

SLU Connect Burlington is a career exploration event exposing students to a variety of industries and individuals in the Burlington, Vermont region. Matriculated sophomores, juniors and seniors selected through a competitive application process attend career roundtable discussions and industry site visits, all hosted by Laurentians. Professional fields will include non-profit, government, entrepreneurship & business, technology and many more. A networking event will afford students more opportunity to speak directly with alumni across multiple fields.
Event Date: Wednesday, October 15, 2025 (after classes)- Saturday, October 18, 2025 (return to campus late afternoon- early evening)
Costs:
- There is no registration fee to take part in SLU Connect. Hotel accommodations (students will be in rooms of up to three people), some meals, transportation to/from Burlington in University vans and scheduled career visits are all covered.
- Students are responsible for covering approximately half of the meals, hotel incidentals, transportation and applicable parking fees if students choose to take a personal vehicle, and personal transportation during the program.

- Young Alumni Breakfast
- Government/Non-Profit Roundtable
- Site Visits at Beta Technologies, Hula, OnLogic, and Weird Window Brewing
- Alumni Networking Event

We will also be available to answer questions at the Student Activities Fair on Friday, September 5, from 4:00-6:00 p.m.

- Letter of Interest (upload as cover letter) indicating why you are interested in this program and location, and how you believe participation in this program will assist you in your career preparation.
