Description of Organization: Landmark Management, LLC is an SEC registered New York City based multi-family office that manages a diversified portfolio of investments for a small group of high net worth families.

Description of Position: The Investment Analyst will work closely within the nine-member Investment Team working with investments across all asset classes and on a broad range of portfolio management projects. The Investment Analyst position is a three-year role, and a candidate should expect their employment to end after that commitment period. The position provides excellent exposure to portfolio asset allocation strategies as well as investments across institutional asset classes including long-only equities, fixed income, hedge funds and private equity.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  •  Assist the Investment Team in the sourcing, evaluation, selection, and monitoring of investments
  •  Track and monitor manager/portfolio performance including exposures, manager’s assets under management, concentration concerns and other portfolio level analysis and performance metrics
  •  Assist in the tracking and analysis of relevant market information and benchmark data utilized for asset allocation and portfolio positioning
  •  Attend conferences, manager meetings, due diligence meetings and provide detailed memorandums for the Investment Team (some domestic travel required)
  •  Assist with the due diligence, review and analysis of prospective investments
  •  Research, write and present industry primers to identify potential areas of investment focus/concern as well as analyze macro trends that may impact the portfolios
  •  Serve as a mentor to more junior Analysts as well as interns who join the team over time
  •  Along with the other Analysts, update and maintain the firm’s CRM database
  •  Provide recommendations for new processes, analysis and approaches that will enhance the overall effectiveness of the Investment Team
  •  Perform other duties as requested or assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  •  Expected to exhibit a strong work ethic, manage multiple high priority projects and work effectively both as an individual and as part of a team with minimal supervision
  •  Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact in a professional manner with outside investment professionals as well as fellow colleagues
  •  Intellectually curious and a demonstrated desire and ability to perform in a collaborative, team-oriented work environment
  •  Highly organized with an ability to work in a self-directed fashion and manage multiple projects within defined deadlines
  •  Strong written and oral communication skills
  •  Proficient Microsoft Office skills are a plus

Qualifications:
  •  Highest ethical and professional standards
  •  Ensures security and confidentiality of sensitive information and material (a confidentiality agreement will be required)
  •  Strong academic record, including a Bachelor’s degree
  •  Three-year commitment required
  •  Applicants will be expected to work in the New York City-based office on a full-time basis (not remotely)
  •  Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
